Spring Break in Niagara Falls. After a long winter, it’s almost necessary to do something fun. The weather is still hovering around 0 degrees celsius. It’s almost Spring, though, so everyone is in a better mood.
.
It’s the boys’ first time in Toronto and Niagara Falls. They love trains, so I took them on a transportation extravaganza. We rode the VIA train from Ottawa (Canada), the GO train (Southern Ontario regional train), the TTC (Toronto subway) and a few city buses. I think most of our time was on the train, but they loved it.
.
Union Station. Lunch and then to Niagara Falls.
.
Niagara Falls is a fun, cheesy tourist spot. Kids love it there, so it’s worth the 7.5 hour train journey. The falls are majestic.
.
For a 3 day trip, we packed very light. I brought my trusty grey Utility Tote with backpack straps added. I like taking this one because it organizes all my belongings and I can be hands free.
.
I think a Spring Break trip is going to be a family tradition (for as long as they still want to hang out with us). It leaves the winter behind and look forward to good weather.
.
They are going back to school tomorrow and I have some catching up work to do.
.
Wishing you a very good week.
Working on some new pouches. I’m trying out tri-colour combinations. I’m also becoming a fan of paracord zipper pulls.
.
Christian is the EDC (everyday carry) and paracord guy. Initially, he put these zipper pulls on my sons’ backpacks. I really liked how they looked and how useful they were. Now for any future designs, he will be the one to put on all the zipper pulls. I love delegating work to him 😊.
The tenkeyless or TKL case is the largest one that I make for mechanical keyboards.
.
Featured here are ones that I’ve made where the customers have also added their personalization.
The sun is out, but it’s only 1 degree celsius in Ottawa. I can’t wait to ride my Brompton again in warmer weather.
.
This is one of the bags that I made compatible with the Brompton front carrier rack.

Fun money. My first born recently turned 12. His grandma and uncle sent him some money for his birthday and Chinese New Year. Now every time he goes out, he thinks he’s loaded and can buy any treats he wants...lol. Love being a kid.
I made him this zipper coin pouch to put his new found wealth in and he liked it a lot.
.
I put in a card slot in the front for his bus card and used a coil zipper to be more lightweight.
.
It’s a bit small. I would like to make a slightly larger version for sale. It can be used as a wallet with card slots inside.
