Custom Bag: Commuter Bag | Water Resistant Lightly Waxed Canvas and Leather | Charcoal Grey and Brown
Jordan, a local Vancouver customer, custom ordered this Commuter Bag for his girlfriend’s birthday. He told me that she already has one other bag that I made. I was honoured he chose to buy her another Modern Coup bag for this occasion.
Jordan wanted two front pockets to be added to this bag. The front pockets are nice to have because it gives you easy access to things you need to get quickly; keys, bus passes, notes, phone, etc. Other than that, the extra layer of waxed canvas gives this bag even more structure. The bag without the pockets is semi-structured, so it stands on its own. With the added front pockets, the bag is even more sturdy.
The Commuter Bag is a mid-size hand-held tote that can be also worn on the shoulder or across the body (with the detachable and adjustable leather strap). I used this one for my trip to Montreal and I think it’s a great everyday or travel bag. It’s lightweight, water resistant, fully secured with a zipper top and spacious.
