Hi Everyone. I hope you had a nice weekend.
I’ve been working on this purse for weeks now and it’s finally ready in the shop! For this bag, I wanted it to be a small purse that carries all the essentials, while keeping your hands-free. I used a black lightly waxed canvas, a colour I haven’t introduced in any of my bags so far. I meant for the beautiful materials to speak for itself, so the design is very minimal; black waxed canvas, black vegetable tanned bridle leather and solid brass hardware. Simple and functional. I hope you like it.
My husband, Christian, shot these pictures on the weekend with his Leica M8 and did a great job. That’s me in the photo, by the way. It looks like a pretty serene picture, right? I’m laughing because during the time of the photo shoot, my son Pax was running around and getting into the photo, getting right in front of the camera and trying to press it. Haha…he’s 2 years old and thinks we’re just taking pictures for fun, so wants to get in there. Pure mischief. When you have kids, you have to do things fast. Luckily, we got a few good shots in about 15 minutes. Phew!
The waxed canvas is water resistant and the strap is adjustable with a solid brass buckle. The nice thing about black, as many of you already know, is that it goes well with almost anything you wear.
