Modern Coup Studio: Lightly Waxed Medium Totes Are In Stock
I spent the week making a batch of lightly waxed canvas totes in charcoal grey and brown. I was really productive this week, maybe because I had a nice little break last week when my aunt and uncle from Toronto came for a visit. It was so nice to have them here, since they haven’t been back to Vancouver for 30 years. However, going out to have fun everyday is exhausting. I’m glad to be back in the studio and working.
When you work in a tiny studio (90 square feet), it’s always nice when your products are compact. Here the totes are almost finished and folded flat.
As always, the totes have solid brass YKK zippers on them . They are one of the best quality zippers you can find.
The totes still need the vegetable tanned bridle leather handles to be set. I use solid brass rivets to attach the handles because solid brass is beautiful, very strong and durable.
