10 Of The Best Independent Stores in Vancouver

christian-yves-photography-shop-photo

The weather is getting colder in Vancouver and that means spending more time at the mall. I don’t mind it so much because my son likes it and it’s somewhere warm to walk around. However, I seldom find things at the mall that I like. After looking at the windows of a few stores, the selection starts to look all the same.

If you want to look for some unique and good quality items, you will have to head to the independent stores. Since it’s almost time for the holidays, I thought I would list some of my favourite local shops for gifts.

You missed Urbanity that sells Fog Linen clothes and other wonderful designs. A 10 minute walk from Granville Island. Drop in next time you are in the neighbourhood.

Thanks for that, Julia. I have heard good things about Urbanity, but have never been there. A shop that sells Fog Linen clothing? I’ll have to take a look!
