My Belgian Linen Shipment Has Arrived!
Belgian linen in mustard, stone blue, charcoal and indigo
I love linen. It’s a fine fabric that is really strong and durable. Also it is completely natural, spun from the fibres of the flax plant. However, most are in a lightweight for table and bed linens. I’ve been looking for a linen that is heavier in weight for making pouches and bags.
It took me a while, but I found some Belgian linen in really beautiful colours from a US supplier that imports these in from Europe. It was really hard to find thick linen in such a nice quality. I’m so happy with the texture and the colours. Now it’s time to start designing some pouches. I will let you know when it’s in the shop!
